Bowl ‘linea’

165.00

This style of bowl is inspired by the work of Italian woodturner Giorgio Romani and the work of American woodturner Alexander Scott. Turned from one solid piece of beech, but no ordinary beech! This tree lay uncovered in the wood for a few years after it was felled by a storm. Fungi and mushrooms developed on the bark and they created these impressive and intricate patterns. It’s a time consuming process and you have to be lucky the ‘right’ fungi develop otherwise it doesn’t always work out.
